Hyacinths are the perfect post-holiday décor and can refresh any room in your home. They're one of my favorite flowers—so cheerful and extra fragrant. I found a beautiful 6" white Hyacinth pot at our store and got inspired to create a refreshing indoor garden.
I found an old ceramic planter in my garage, some rocks in the garden, a container filled with sea glass and a silver heart my sister Astrid sent to me from Sweden.

I carefully placed the bulbs in the ceramic pot using the soil that the plant came in. Then I proceeded to add some glass, rocks and the silver heart. I have invited spring into my home by placing the garden on my kitchen table.

The extra special touch of the silver heart reminds me of my sister and really brightens my day. Maybe you have a little something stashed away somewhere that you can use for your special garden!
Place in bright indirect light, away from any heat source. Heat will speed up the flowering process, shortening the lifespan of your plant.
