Haggen Inc. works with Topco Associates in Skokie, Illinois
to procure all of our Corporate Brand products. Topco is a retailer-owned
buying cooperative of which Haggen has been a member since 1993.
Topco’s national buying power brings Haggen better pricing so
we can pass the savings on to you.
Topco Quality Assurance on Every Product
Haggen buys meet or exceeds the national brand standards. The
heart of the Topco Quality Assurance operation is a laboratory
in Skokie, Ill. Here a staff of highly qualified technologists
test over a quarter million product samples a year for compliance
with their quality standards.
Topco Quality Assurance maintains a computerized database of
over 3,000 product specifications to which products must be
manufactured or processed. Topco Quality Assurance technologists
use these specifications to make all accept/reject decisions.
